This work is a reflection on how particular events in a children’s life can compel them to mature faster that others their age.Thus not only are they having to deal with whatever the issue may be,for instance: abuse, death, illness/disease, drug and alcohol abuse,but they also become segregated, as they have no one to relate to their own age. These children become either harsher, stronger people or they can become very weak and unable to deal with the issues that life has in store for them. This particular work highlights their shell, the ghost of their innocence that has been left behind.
